Dronning Eufemias Gate 8, Oslo

Project information

Dronning Eufemias Gate 8 has an excellent location in Oslo and is one of the most distinguished office buildings in Norway.

air-lux façade system

The former PWC building has been converted into a modern, energy-efficient and robust multi-purpose building. Art and architecture go hand in hand with technology and innovative solutions.
The new façade consists of four-fold insulating glass with an Ug value of 0.29 W/m2K.
The architect’s intention was to construct an exterior with a flush, absolutely smooth façade. As the dimensions are too large for normal side-hung windows and sliding windows have an offset, the idea of pivot windows arose. Four motorised air-lux pivot windows with identical opening directions and sash dimensions of 1,208 x 3,970 mm were installed on the top floor.
