All functions of air-lux sliding windows are designed to ensure optimal ease of operation and comfort. Comfort solutions such as gap ventilation, insect protection and shading systems can be integrated upon request. The patented inflatable air-lux seal rests 100% airtight on the sliding window frame and allows neither noise nor drafts into the room. With noise-insulating glass, exterior noise can be reduced even further.

Operation and function

The sliding window is operated via a button with an integrated LED on the window frame; other options are available upon request. Pressing the button deflates the seal and releases the lock and vice versa. On the exterior, entry options such as key switches, numeric codes, fingerprints or badges are available. The control and monitoring of the lock status can also be managed via the building management system or mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Automation

The air-lux integrated drive is invisibly integrated into the frame for all opening types and no fixtures or recesses are required in the ceiling. The sliding window opens and closes fully automatically, smoothly and quietly. If power is lost, the sliding window is easy to move manually and can be locked without electric power.
